The African Development Bank Group called upon its Office of Integrity and Anti-Corruption to assess and report on the self confessions of the Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractors BWSC of Corrupt and Fraudulent Practices in the context of the Saint Louis Power Plant Redevelopment Project in Mauritius. BWSC had submitted to the ADB all relevant documents including the report of its own investigation wherein confirmation had been obtained of kickbacks paid to local Businessmen and Politicians ( Government & Opposition).
